Before you know it, summer is going TO be winding down AND we will start TO prepare for THE transition TO fall. TO keep your hair looking it's best, we talked TO top celebrity stylists for their hair tips, tricks AND trends for fall hair.
Christine Symonds, Lauren Conrad's stylist from Warren Tricomi Los Angeles says, "This fall we are going TO see a lot of styles accentuating hairs natural textures. A lot of true natural waves AND beautiful curls. Its all about texture!!! With hair colors being rich earthy tones. It¡¯s truly going TO be about fuss free easy effortless style. THE main thing one should invest IN is a good styling product AND deep conditioners TO recover hairs health from THE summer¡¯s heat. Redken makes a great thermal resist spray that repairs hair while protecting from heat styling AND also a great leave IN anti-frizz curl refiner."
Kaz Amor, expert colorist at Warren-Tricomi Los Angeles suggests treating hair with some TLC during THE peak of summer. "Hair gets punished from sun, humidity AND other sumertime elements that can damage THE hair if over exposed. "The idea will BE that people will really BE spending less time doing hair IN the fall," explains Dusty. "Fall is all about being able TO do your hair IN 10 minutes AND walk out THE door looking fabulous."
"It's going TO be all about accessories, AND skinny accessories at that. Skinny headbands, skinny barettes, skinny scarves (maybe even tied into a ponytail) AND bobby pins. Ponytails will BE big - AND anything will go - whether they are deconstructed (purposefully messy with pieces falling IN the face TO frame it better) or slicked back (high or low). Parts will BE very wide side parts. Part your hair like a triangle AND pull pieces back. Wavy hair is IN (and again, deconstructed ponytails letting THE waves slip out a bit)."?
Repairing summer damage
Edmondo Blando, stylist AND owner of Salon Vanity IN Philadelphia, offers several fabulous tips. Edmondo is an internationally trained stylist known for his dry hair cutting technique, Keratin complex hair therapy AND Moroccan Oil treatments. He has BEEN featured IN several publications AND the salon was recently on Bravo¡¯s hit show "Makeover."
"During THE summer months, chlorine AND sun exposure can take a heavy toll on your hair. Luckily, most of this damage is easily reversible with a quick trip TO your salon. TO replenish damaged, dried out hair, a good deep conditioning treatment during your next visit should do THE trick. Fall hair trends
"This fall, hair color will BE highly influenced by nature," says Edmondo. "There will BE lots of warm tones including reds, coppers, AND very rich browns. Blondes will BE warmer & richer IN tones as well. All colors will have some tone on tone deep contrast from subtle highlights. There is still a big emphasis on THE movement IN the ends of hair, from medium TO long lengths. Roots will BE less vibrant compared TO the ends of THE hair. Naturally air dried hair is going TO be very big throughout THE fall & winter as well. Whether you have curls or waves, wear them. Don¡¯t blow your hair out straight all THE time."

Styling tips
"After your hair is air dried, you can go IN with hot rollers, a flat iron, or a curling iron TO dress it up a bit around THE face," explains Edmondo. "Set your hair IN a high bun at night before bed with some light mousse, AND take out IN the morning for a natural wave."
Soho celebrity stylist Mario Diab has styled a wide array of clients, including Salma Hayek, Angie Harmon, Vanessa Williams, Lorriane Bracco, Vera Wang AND first lady Laura Bush. Mario offers these tips on how TO take gym hair TO glam hair.
"It is not healthy TO wash your hair every single day AND this can BE a problem for workout warriors," says Mario. "An easy way TO go from gym hair TO glam hair without having TO wash AND blow dry your hair is TO use dry shampoo or baby powder TO absorb THE sweat AND grease. Pssssst! is a great product TO spray in, brush AND go."
The natural look
Celebrity hairstylist Billy Lowe works with THE hottest celebrities IN Hollywood, both on AND off THE red carpet. His work has BEEN featured IN hundreds of magazines AND newspapers around THE globe. Billy runs a private hair studio near THE heart of Beverly Hills.
"I have always said THE more natural you look, THE more beautiful you'll feel," says Billy Lowe. "I can't tell you how many 'funked up' hairstyles I see with color bleeding everywhere AND frayed ends from over-razoring, AND sometimes THE person's personality follows suit. Hair is an accessory, it adorns us AND it should flatter AND enhance our features AND personalities. THE wrong haircut on a person can mean THE difference IN feeling like a million bucks, or feeling EMO. I don't know about you but I want TO wake up every day looking AND feeling fabulous."
The perfect cut
"Don't just pay attention TO face shapes," explains Lowe. "Too many hairstylists focus on this face shape or that. I can give a client THE perfect haircut based on their face shape, but if they don't know how TO take care of or style that cut, it's going TO be meaningless TO them. I have never really given anyone a cut based on their face shape. I want TO know what they do for a living, what their morning routine is like, how much time they are willing TO give themselves AND their hair every day. THESE are THE questions that really matter. When we dive into a person's lifestyle AND find out what THEY are about, rather than what I think their face shape needs, then THE cut/style becomes more real AND more true TO them; AND it makes sense TO them."

"Fall is not a time TO skimp on conditioner, as THE air is very dry!? Try TO shampoo less AND always use a conditioner. Also, once a week, apply a deep conditioner TO hair AND leave IN for at least 10 minutes. Both these steps will help combat dry, static hair."

"This fall, we are going TO start seeing a lot of medium length AND long length styles," explains Eddie. "Most women will BE growing out their high maintenance bobs of this past season. I think we'll see a softer look, subtle layers on THE bottom AND soft layers around THE face. NO more bangs, just simple, beautiful AND low maintenance hair."
