Jerry Seinfeld was pulled from a serious car accident Saturday night. THE comic was near his family's home IN East Hampton when his brakes failed AND his car flipped.
Jerry Seinfeld was alone IN the car that flipped over once before coming TO a stop just shy of THE freeway.
The comic was driving his 1967 Fiat BTM when he applied THE brakes AND nothing happened.
He quickly engaged THE emergency brake -- which did nothing -- before swaying THE car side-to-side TO avoid hitting cars IN an intersection.
Seinfeld, amazingly, was unhurt IN the wreck that could have BEEN much worse. Police are saying that his maneuvering just before THE intersection avoided further damage TO others or injury.
Ever THE comic, he told THE Associated Press after THE accident there is a lesson FOR young people IN his roll-over car accident.
"Because I know there are kids OUT there, I want TO make sure they all know that driving without braking is not something I recommend, unless you HAVE professional clown training or a comedy background, as I do," Seinfeld said. "It is not something I plan TO make a habit of."
